It's In the Genes...

Somebody commented how plastic surgery is like a national obsession for Koreans. Most women would have gone under the knife at some point in their lives to make themselves look "more beautiful". Even the male population are catching up with plastic surgery. This brought back memory of a comment made by my half Jap, half Taiwanese tour guide: Koreans who did not undergo plastic surgery look ugly. Wanted to laugh when I heard that because to be sure, my tour guide is no hunk either and don't they always say mixed bloods are good looking? :p

Anyway, a hilarious thought came to mind. What happens if somebody marries a Korean who has been beautified? Won't the spouse know that the Korean is actually not a beauty when a child is born? After all, I am sure the child would inherit half of the "ugly" genes.
