Friends?

One of my classmate will be holding his solemnisation this Friday. Really do not feel like going as I still have plenty of things to settle for my trip. Actually I don't want to go because I am not that close to him. Although in name he was suppose to be part of my clique from university days, but he has never turned up for any of my birthday celebrations . I'm not like trying to pay him back for not turning up for my bday celebrations, but I guess from the way things are we have never been close so I don't want to feel obliged to attend his solemnisation.
